In January of 2006 – Police Special Constable Charles Grant went on a violent rampage. He shot up the home of his common law wife and when police cornered him on Mosul Street, he opened fire on the police.

He shot Police Constable Ian Geban in the forehead and Grant then shot himself in the head, leaving him with a serious skull injury that had him as you see in this picture from June of last year. He was charged with the attempted murder of Geban and today in the Supreme Court, he pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of wounding. Justice John Gonzalez will sentence him on October 19th.

Last year, Grant, who is the father of 6 children, was sentenced to 18 months for the aggravated assault and harm of his common law wife.
