BIMA Selects President & Executive Director

The Belize Independent Media Association came out with a strong statement last week when talk show hosts Mose Hyde and Rufus X were targeted for violent attacks. Now, BIMA has retained Ann Marie Williams as its executive director and elected Love FM’s Rene Villanueva as President.

The media association’s members are the Amandala and Reporter newspapers, radio stations Krem, Love, More and Estereo Amor and television broadcasters Channels 5, 7 and Krem TV. It was launched in June of this year.
