Gunshots Interrupt Classes at Gwen Liz

Students at Gwen Liz High were interrupted from their studies this morning by the sound of gunshots. Police detained one man who they believe was carrying a firearm near the school. Police received information and responded to a call on the street behind Gwen Liz. They found their suspect hiding under a house. Reportedly, shots were fired to get him from out of his hiding place.

But eyewitnesses told police that as he was running away, he threw his gun in a nearby drain. While we were on the scene, officers were busy looking for that gun but they could not find it. Without the weapon, no decision has been made on whether charged will be brought.
