Brian Vernon Charged for Conspiracy to Kill Shaggy

Placencia police have made an arrest in connection with Thursday night’s murder of Shannon “Shaggy” Henderson. Brian Vernon will be arraigned tomorrow for conspiracy to commit murder. “Shaggy” was shot twice, once to the chest and another to his back, in front of his home in the Berges area of Placencia shortly after 9 on Thursday night.

Police say they believe “Shaggy” was killed after an argument over money and drugs. Shaggy was shot in front of his Canadian girlfriend who is reportedly 9 months pregnant with the couple’s second child. Police are still searching for the man who they believe actually pulled the trigger.
