Shane Crawford Shot on Monday Night

Viewed in the context of the current crime climate, the past weekend has to be considered peaceful. There were no retaliatory killings, and no murderous massive attack, but there was at least one shooting and other armed assaults. The shooting victim is nineteen year old Shane Crawford. It happened around nine thirty on Monday night when the teenager was sitting on a veranda on Lovely Lane when an unidentified man rode up to the residence and fired three shots at him. One of those bullets caught Crawford in his upper left leg. Police say they have no suspect and do not know why Shane Crawford was shot.
