Nine days after thirty nine year old Sandra Ruiz was killed inside her Kings Park home, her eight year old daughter has been discharged from the hospital. The child was stuck to her head with a hammer after her mother was bludgeoned to death. However both of the victim’s young daughters who witnessed the gruesome crime have been left traumatized. Family members confirmed to 7NEWS that the girls will be leaving Belize shortly for Germany to go live with their father.
Two days after Sandra Ruiz was murdered police arrested and charged her neighbor Darrel Grant with the crime. Yesterday his eighteen year old sister Samantha Grant and Kayla Davis were arrested and charged with handling stolen goods. The women had pawned Ruiz’s jewelry that Darrel Grant had allegedly stolen on the night she was killed.
