Last night we told you about a group of five who police busted with a pair of loaded 9-millimeter pistols stowed in a pair of rubber boots.
Well today they went to court. 32 year old Marlon Budran, his common law wife, 39 year old Bridget White, 23 year old Clifton Flores, 22 year old Kareem Heusner, and 18 year old Said Pike were charged with 2counts of keeping firearm without a gun license and 2 counts of keeping ammunition without a gun license when they appeared today in the #4 Magistrate's court.
They all pleaded not guilty to the charges. Budran, Flores, Heusner and Pike were remanded into custody until December 27th. In the case of White, her attorney, Dickie Bradley submitted that she is the mother of a two month old child that is breast feeding and she was not at the house when the police searched it.
Magistrate Roberto Ordonez released her into the custody of a community rehabilitation officer. As for the men, according to our information two of them were also persons of interest in the robbery of a pair of tourists which happened earlier in the day - but no case will proceed because the visitors have reportedly already left the country.
