On 8:45 on Saturday night armed men robbed Super Saver Store on the corner of Commerce and Plum Street in Dangriga Town, and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Shortly after, police received information of one of the suspects and went to #4 Ghans Avenue where they saw eighteen year old Glenford Castillo Junior.

Castillo allegedly pointed a gun at the police and jumped a fence. Police pursued him firing two shots that caught him in the right leg. Castillo was later taken to KHMH but has been treated and released to police custody. A later search of the area led to the discovery of a sawed off shot gun and when police searched the suspect's pockets they found a small amount of cash.

Police investigations led to the detention of a minor believed to be the other suspect. He along with Castillo were charged with robbery today.
