On Tuesday we told you about Edwin Drive Flowers - that the Supreme Court had committed him to stand trial for the murder of Randy Coye after the Magistrate's court had freed him months earlier. But police had not located Flowers -but they did the day after our story aired. He was found in Stephen Flowers and Kayla Sutherland's apartment on Electric Avenue.
It happened around 2:30 on Wednesday afternoon. Because he has already been committed to stand trial, Flowers was taken directly into remand where he joins Brandon Smith, DeShawn Mena, Kenroy Humes, and Leon Gray. But that's not the end of it, the couple whose apartment he was staying in has also been charged. Today Stephen Flowers and Kayla Sutherland appeared in the number 5 Magistrate's court charged for harboring a criminal. They pleaded not guilty to the charge. They were released on bail of $2,500.00 each and their case was adjourned until February 9th.
