Bartender Accused Of Smuggling Weed

A 24 year old female Bartender who claims she works at the Princess Hotel was today charged with attempting to smuggle 31.7 grams of cannabis to her boyfriend who was in police custody.

Stacey Belisle was charged with possession of a controlled drug, when she appeared in the #4 Magistrate's court.

Belisle pleaded not guilty to the charge. She was released on a bail of Two Thousand Five Hundred dollars, and her case was adjourned until April 7th.

Police reports are that Belisle handed to Alex Underwood a foam plate with beans and a fry jack in it,, while Underwood was being housed in a cell. Police took away the foam plate from Underwood and search it. The search resulted in the discovery of the marijuana.
