Police Bust 60 Pounds Of Weed On Bypass Road

Police made a big bust yesterday evening near Orange Walk. Acting on intelligence, the Quick Response Team and Special Branch stopped and searched a gold Equinox traveling from the Bypass Road to Belize City.

19-year-old Joshua Hall, 38-year-old George Franzua, 21-year-old Randolph Crawford and 20-year-old Jose Worrell all of Corozal Town were inside the vehicle. Police looked on the back seat and found three hefty parcels of cannabis wrapped in transparent plastic which amounted to a total of 61 pounds of weed. That's a significant quantity with a street value in the tens of thousands. Police have arrested and charged all men for Drug Trafficking.
