San Juan Villager and 26 year old mother KEIDI YESENIA RAMIREZ died from Asphyxiation, caused by a Haemorrhage of the pancreas as a consequence of abdominal trauma. Basically, the examination suggests that she was beaten up really badly.
And the suspect are her own family members: her sister, and her parents who tied her up, and gagged her - after a drunken dispute over a man, reportedly.
The Head of National Crimes told us more:
ACP Joseph Myvett - Head, NCIB
"She was observed with injury type marks to her foot, her hand and I believe her neck. Our investigation so far has shown that she was at home along with other family members on the said date on the time around 4:30 PM when they were socializing, which eventually ended up in a dispute and as a result she was restrained by those who she was socializing with and at some point she was seemed to be unresponsive and as a result she was transported to the Independence Polyclinic where she was later pronounced dead. So far have 3 persons in custody from whom statements have been recorded from, those statements were submitted to the office of the DPP for which we are awaiting her directives."

"No at this point in time I do not know the nature of the dispute."
Her family members remain detained and have not been charged pending advice from the DPP.
