Police have not made any arrests in the murder of Elizabeth Rosseau, the 74 year old American retiree who was killed at her home just outside Corozal Town last week.
Police did say they are looking at the angle that the Rosseau's couple's movements may have been studied before they were robbed:

"We had been told in that community that they had been to the bank earlier. And the residents felt that they may have been targeted because of this. Is there any indication that perhaps someone had surveilled them at the bank and then thought that maybe they had a lot of money in the home?"

"At this point in time I would not want to venture into that part of the investigation as that is currently a part of the investigation as well."
