Last night, we told you about the stabbing murder of 47 year-old Yolanda Requena, which happened on Sunday night in Bullet Tree Falls Village. Well, police say that her attacker was 50 year-old Thelma Warrior, a housewife of Bullet Tree Falls.
Warrior has since been arrested and charged with murder, and it is expected that she will be arraigned and remanded to prison at the earliest convenience.
As we reported, Requena, a mother of 4, was over at the Warrior household, and she was talking with Warrior's husband. Reports are that she went over to that house to deliver a plate of food to this man, and that's when she encountered Warrior herself. The two women had a confrontation, which escalated when Warrior pulled a knife and inflicted one single stab wound to Requena's chest. The blade went right through her heart, and she died on the spot.
It is unknown at this time what caused these 2 women to get into such a bitter and deadly dispute, but there is suspicion that Requena may have some sort of romantic interaction with Warrior's husband.
