Diabetes is a major health problem in Belize - and we all have a relative or friend whose been forced to amputate a limb due to a diabetic infection. It's considered the only course of action to save the rest of the body. But, one man rejected it and found another solution. We met him last week at a private clinic:

And while his prognosis is encouraging, Winston Lopez also needs your help. He's getting private care at a very discounted rate, but even so, he's used up all his personal resources, and the money raised by his teacher colleagues in Punta Gorda.
