One party that went on uninterrupted by police officers was the one attended by a female Inspector. This is not the first time our newsroom has received reports about this senior officer amidst illegal gatherings. No action was brought against her in the first instance because, according to the Police Commissioner, there was a lack of evidence. However, this time around, the pictures of her party have made their way to the ComPol, who has already ordered the launch of an investigation.

"Well I can tell, you, Jules, as much as some may want to say that I like to shield officers, that is not true. Once I have the feather in my hand, the chips are gonna fall where they may. And that video or pictures from the video was brought to my attention this morning and I just directed ACP Rosado who is OC Eastern Division to address that matter, because at the end of the day we have to be real. We can't be the enforcers of the law and we must behave as if we are immune to the law. It does not work like that. I expect that my officers, and more so a senior officer, to behave in a responsible manner."
