And from a mother of three lost in a road traffic incident, to a father of two who also met his demise on the road. On Tuesday we told you about 28-year-old Hansel Flowers who was injured on the Philip Goldson Highway on Holy Thursday. He held on until Easter Sunday but succumbed to his injuries.
And while the family was a bit unsure of exactly how the incident occurred, today we spoke with his girlfriend who was inside the vehicle when it happened. Lucila Bartley told us that they had broken down on the shoulder of the road between mile 33 and 34 and was stranded for two hours while waiting for help. Here's the whole story:
Bartley's stepfather was also on the scene but sustained minor injuries. She told us that police are currently investigating.
