And tough decisions can bear tough consequences - as you saw in our lead story, the unions have a history of strong resistance to governments that try to have their way with them. In the past they were fighting for government reform - this time they will have to fight for their living wage - and that's a whole other level!
One reporter asked the Minister of Home Affairs if police are preparing for any kind of unrest tomorrow as the budget is presented - Musa said, nothing special:
Hon. Kareem Musa - Minister of Home Affairs "Well officers are always at the national assembly, especially for the house meetings. At this time, I don't know whether there will be industrial action. If there is, obviously there maybe need for greater police presence but at this time, it's the standard set of officers that will be out there tomorrow."
