Tonight, a family is destroyed after the incomprehensible double murder of their sister and her husband.
48-year-old Leticia Carillo Frankel and her husband, 62-year-old Belizean Canadian Mark Frankel were residents of Western Paradise who rented Air B&B's for a living.
But they disappeared on Tuesday evening after Leticia's last WhatsApp message which went out just before 4:00 p.m. Since then they'd disappeared without a trace.
That is until today when all the family's worst fears were confirmed.
Cherisse Halsall was on the scene with the search party and brings us the following story.
I'm standing on an off-road of the John Smith road where scenes of crimes and CIB have found two bodies. It is believed that these are the bodies of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Frankel the couple from Western Pines {SUNSET PARK} that went missing earlier this week on Thursday their vehicle was found in this area.
And it was that abandoned vehicle that prompted Leticia's family to ramp up their search:
This morning they had several groups canvassing the area.
And when we met Leticia's sister on the savannah adjoining the John Smith road, she told us that while the couple, who live at mile 8, would regularly use that road she has no idea why their car would have been parked there.
Cherisse Halsall:
"I can't imagine searching for your sister in all this immensity."

Zaida Rivers, Sister
"Yeah, well everytime you go and someone says they've found something your heart goes into your throat. I'm just glad that we're looking and we haven't found anything. That means that there is some sort of hope that we'll find them hopefully soon, no."
And while it wasn't what Rivers would have hoped, two hours later they got the call that the bodies had been found here on a lonely back road in the vicinity of the Phillip Goldson airport.
Zaida Rivers, Sister
"A group found them because where we were earlier If you recall where you saw me a group had gone ahead to start the search up towards the airport and that is where they started the search and a group found them right there. I mean there is no good response but closure for the family that we found them is the only thing that we can say and thanks to the police and my family because as you can see I had a big group out there and they were persistent not to give up and we were able to find them, even if it was in this state, and thank god for this closure."

Chester Williams, Comissioner of Police
"Upon inspection of the body it does have injuries consistent with what appears to be gunshot wounds."
Cherisse Halsall:
"Now we know that the house was ransacked, now that you guys say you have this closure are you any closer to finding out the circumstances of how your sister and brother-in-law ended up in that field?"
Zaida Rivers, Sister
"That's a very good question and I guess this is where the police come in and we will have to depend on the police for this because we have no reason to believe why someone would want to do that to them, and again we don't know why this would happen to them."
"She was always around, always getting in touch with everyone, you know making sure that everybody was okay and like I said she had a closer relationship with one of my sisters so the minute something was off you know that sister was able to detect and that is how we became alerted. But I mean she was a pleasant person, always looking out for people in the family nobody bad to say anything could happen to her so this is a really really sad time for the family."
The couple didn't have any children.
