
And From that Friday night, murder, we turned now to a body which was discovered on Saturday afternoon near the Toledo Village of Jacintoville.
The victim has since been identified as 47-year-old Joseph Lindsey Guy, a mechanic from Silk Grass Village. He was found on the San Felipe Road, near its junction with the Southern Highway. It appears that someone slashed his throat.
Today, police told us that they are trying to locate 2 suspects who may be able to provide more insight into this crime. The Head of the National Criminal Investigations Branch share a few details with the press today:

"On Saturday shortly after 2pm police were called to the area of Jacintoville near the bridge where upon their arrival they observed the apparent lifeless body of forty-seven-year-old Joseph Guy with apparent cut wounds and bruises to his body. The scene was processed and the body was taken to the community hospital in Punta Gorda where the body was pronounced dead on arrival. At this point in time we are seeking two persons whom we believe can assist the police in this investigation."

"Do we know why Mr. Guy was targeted?"

"We are following several leads that I do not want to comment on in relation to that investigation."

'Did he have any issues with anyone or made any report to police?"
ACP Joseph Myvett
"Not that we know about."

"Has the investigation reveal what his last few hours before he was killed?"
ACP Joseph Myvett
"No, we know that he has been seen by a family member a few days prior to the incident."
The authorities are offering a 2-thousand-dollar reward to anyone who can provide them with useful information to help solve Guy's murder.
