And switching now to the joint unions: there has been developments with both the BNTU and the PSU. First, the BNTU has put its strike on hold after five weeks - which has now been etched in history as the longest strike by the union.
According to a memo, teachers are asked to return to their classroom, both physically and virtually, tomorrow, June 1st.
This decision to put a pause on the strike comes after a poll from the membership over the weekend, in which the majority voted against continuing.
But the BNTU isn't done just yet, since they say they will be taking the battle to the courts and their legal team is preparing to do just that. The union will stick to their commitment to ensure good governance and are waiting on the government to come back to the table to, quote, "adequately complete the process that they have so disrespectfully abandoned." End quote.
The union says it will continue with industrial action from within the classroom in the meantime.
