Pharmacists Shot In Mystery Attack

A pharmacist is recovering at home after he was shot in the shoulder last night. Just before 7:30, 42-year-old Edward Flowers was closing up at Aloe Vera Pharmacy 2 on Faber's Road Extension when he received a single gunshot wound. Reports are that the gunman stood about 15 feet away and fired several shots in his direction - so robbery was not a motive, apparently. The suspect was able to escape and Flowers was admitted to the hospital in a stable condition. He has since been discharged.
