What Belize could use help with is finding that narco plane that crashed in the waters south of Placencia near Lark Caye.

Police still have not located the fuselage of that jet, but they have been able to find a few bricks of the cocaine cargo.

On Thursday, they found 7 kilos of cocaine in the back of a pickup truck with three men inside, two of whom were Mennonite farmers.

They have been detained pending charges and today, police briefed us on the details.

ACP Joseph Myvett, Head NCIB

And at the time he was accompanied by Cornelius Reddicop, 40 years, and Johan Reddicop, 32 years, both Mennonites farmers of Little Belize village. A search conducted of the vehicle resulted in an orange color bag containing 7 parcels of suspected cocaine which when weighed amount to 7.283 kilograms.
