On Tuesday's news, we told you about the 15-year-old Kassman Gill, the 3rd Form student from SJC who is hospitalized at the KHMH's Intensive Care Unit. That's after he was gunned down in an apparently senseless shooting on Monday afternoon.
His father today told us that at this time, he remains hospitalized and that the doctors will monitor him closely for the duration of the weekend. They had to put him back under sedation because his lungs recently collapsed. So, his family must now wait and hope that his health will improve.
As we told you, he was walking on Magazine Road in Belize City just before 2 p.m. He was only a short distance away from his family's home on Logwood Street, and he was heading to a friend's house. His family says that he is an introvert who stays mostly at home and focuses on his studies.
He continues to hang on, and if he survives the gunshot injuries, he may be paralyzed.
