And, they aren't the only ones who are frustrated - nurses are also angry after being brought in off vacation. A memo from the deputy DHS advised all staff members that approved vacation leaves have been postponed and everybody on leave right now, has to report to work. So on top of a 10% cut, adverse working conditions, strenuous hours, limited resources and equipment, now the staff isn't even allowed to get their vacation. Today we asked the minister of health, Michel Chebat, about the complaints of the health staff.

"The lab technologists and the nurses are taking to Facebook to complain that their working environments are not good, they're already on a 10% cut, and now the vacation situation where they're being called back from their vacation, they're complaining that they're stressed, they're overworked, and they're looking to leave. Can you respond to this?"

"We're in a third wave, unfortunately the number of doctors and nurses we have in the country is very limited and right now we need all hands on deck to be able to provide properly health services to all of our residents so that is the situation we're faced with."
