But, this time around, what is driving the spike? Are the reports accurate that asymptomatic doctors are being called back in to work at the Hospital. Today in Caye Caulker at another event, Minister of Health, Michel Chebat, said it's an outright lie.

"That is not true, that is a rumor that was circulating on Wednesday and especially in relation to the San Ignacio Community Hospital and that is absolutely not true, the doctors who tested positive and the nurses are at home in isolation."

"Well then I don't know where you're getting your information from, because when I spoke to the chief of staff, he assured me that they are in isolation."
As we said earlier, the San Ignacio Community Hospital continues to offer services including accident and Emergency and Labour - around the clock, outpatient services and Maternal and Child Health daily.
