It was 30 minutes before curfew last night when gunshots rang out in the city.
They left two men and one woman injured, and the customers of Chon Saan Palace scrambling for safety.

25 year old Kareem Young is lucky to be alive after being shot last night on Simon Lamb Street. He was out on a food run when he was targeted by a man who emerged from a red Pickup Truck. And, Young could have been in serious trouble were it not for a willing rescuer who may just have saved his life.

"I saw everyone disperse. I don't know who get shot. When I stand up there I see everyone running who was out here. I stay and when I looked I saw a man come around the lane drop down bloop. I asked them I say get the man, oh sorry I can't cuss in the thing. I said get the vehicle so we can take the man, I'm running for my vehicle but same time Lee Mark said he had his pick up he would get the pickup and have the pickup take the man so we carried him in the vehicle and so."
Also injured in the gunfire were 21 year old Camryn Westby, and 30 year old Emmanuel Westby. This afternoon the COMPOL told the media that despite all the action on the surveillance video, no one's life was actually at risk.

"Police came across three persons, who were suffering from gunshot injuries all of which were not life threatening, those persons were taken to the KHMH where they are admitted in stable conditions. We have obtained a number of surveillance footages we are looking to try to see who those persons are who may be responsible for the shooting."

"You can't have mediation and then let out people in anger when you arrest people and you lock up people for 30 days people come out frustrated. I don't know who shoot who, I don't know why men are shooting at anybody, the only thing I know is that we came to pick up a food and when I saw the man drop we went to rescue the man because are decent citizens."
And this evening Kareem Young remained in the hospital where he is said to be in a stable condition.
