Three More COVID Deaths, All Unvaccinated

There are three more COVID deaths to report from the last 24 hours - 2 women and 1 man and all of them were unvaccinated. Two of the deaths are from the Belize District and one is from the Stann Creek District.

There are 171 new confirmed cases, 733 persons under investigation, while 36 persons are hospitalised and 13 are in the ICU.

Notably, the Ministry of Health and wellness has sent out a major disclaimer as footnote to today's infographic tables. IT says that "Yesterday in the cumulative death graphic an unvaccinated death was misclassified as fully vaccinated. The actual total of fully vaccinated deaths from August 1st to September 23rd is ten (10) and not eleven (11). Four (4) in the 50-59 age group, and six (6) in the 60+ age group."
