Last night you heard the commissioner of police talking about cocaine moving through Belize as the result of a wet drop in the south. Well, now, two fishermen from Dangriga have been detained after the cops found over 2 pounds of suspected cocaine in one of their homes.
Yesterday, Police executed a search warrant at the residence of 42 year old Alexander Delcid, a Fisherman of Monument Site. He was along with another fisherman, 54 year old Delbert Cancio.
The police found one cocaine brick weighing 1.2 kilos or two and three quarter pounds. Both, men were detained pending charges of drug trafficking.
