This morning, persons who were Belize City Magistrate's court may have caught the scene when a Special Constable, who appeared completely out of it, had a major fall at the steps of the court.
We are told that this Special Constable Nunez, was found on the Swing Bridge in Belize City near Bucket Bar. He reportedly couldn't find his way, and so, his colleagues placed in him the van used to transport prisoners and persons who are to be arraigned in court. He was then taken to the Magistrate's Court, and placed on the building's back steps.
Shortly after he was left alone, the officer tried to make his way into the building. He somehow slipped and had a nasty fall in a pool of water.
Several court employees had to help them get him back on his feet. He was then placed in the van and taken away.
We understand that the officer has been employed with the department for over 18 year and has worked as an officer with the court for some years.
