And now, onto the weapons found. Again, reports to us over the weekend were that all five belonged to the police department and not just one, as the ComPol said on Friday. So we asked again, but he insisted that those are also just rumors since they have checked the serial numbers. He also said that those bringing the reports to our attention should contact him instead.

"Reports are that all 5 guns found on the scene were use in the police department. Have you check the serial numbers to see if they are actually government property?"
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Like I said this is silly season, We are doing that, we have done that and preliminary checks so far revealed that only one of those weapons belong to police and it is the one that was stolen from the Succotz police station. I have directed investigators to do certain things to ascertain if in fact the other guns may have came into our custody as found property or as the case may be. So those are still checks that is being done and those persons who have the information that is feeding to you all, I wish they would bring it to me first hand so they can tell me how they know. Maybe they were the ones who found it and handed it over to police, so please advise them to come and see me."
