And while the ComPol said that ACP Vidal has not been implicated as part of the team involved in the drug plane landing, there were persistent reports that he was instrumental in getting his nephew, Corporal Elmer Nah's wife, Epifania Caliz, out of police custody from the Independence southern formation. We asked Williams about this and he explained that it's silly season in the police department so baseless rumors will be plentiful.
