So - as you heard - there were no new COVID deaths this weekend, but, tonight, there are 28 patients in the hospital and 10 in the ICU.
Of the 28, 7 are fully vaxxed, one partially vaxxed and 20 unvaxxed. In the ICU, 2 are fully vaxxed, 8 are unvaxxed.
There are 268 new confirmed cases with 39 case coming out of Belize city and 66 cases out of the Cayo District.
In other COVID news, Dr Cecilio Eck - who was set to come out of the hospital on Saturday - is now back on a ventilator tonight. As we understand it, there were complications with some internal bleeding this weekend, and surgery was done today to remove some clots and control the bleeding. He was placed back on the ventilator and is now in the ICU. He will be re-examined in 3 days, when, hopefully he can be taken off the ventilator.
