Krooman Lagoon in the Collet area of Belize City should be a protected watershed - but it's being encroached upon by squatters and developers.

And those two sides clashed today when a landowner in the area - after warnings to residents - blocked the only exit from one community with huge boulders.

That made it so that they could no longer access his land to get in and out - and created quite a scene. Here's what one of the angry residents told our camera:

The developer declined comment but said that numerous warnings had been given that they could no longer use his property as an access to their community. We'll keep following the story.
