And a second man was killed in a traffic incident, this time in Cotton Tree Village. The incident occurred on Saturday when the victim, 38-year-old Josue Ramos was on a motorcycle with a woman, Elsie Bardalez. Bardalez survived, but Ramos died on the spot. ASP Yearwood gave us more details.

"It was a man driving his motorbike from the direction of Saint Matthew's Village towards Belmopan and upon reaching Cotton Tree Village, he lost control of his cycle. He was flung from that cycle, received serious head and body injuries and died on the spot. His name is Josue Ramos,38 years old. Like I said thats all the information that was sent to me that he lost control of the cycle, fell to the pavement, received injuries."

"Santa Elena Town. They are saying that a female was traveling with him. The female received minor scratches and bruises and was transported to the Western Regional Hospital for treatment where she is listed in a stable condition."
