And Tanga's famous partner, Marybeth also has to be very aware of that.

She says she had a premonition from earlier in the day that something was going to happen. She prayed on the matter and by the time Tanga was finished with his court hearing, she says she felt like the dark clouds had cleared. But it was then that his assailants made their move. Here's her version of what happened before the shooting:

Marybeth
"We got up this morning, he had court, we got up and I told him I have a ugly feeling, I told him let us pray. We hold hands and we pray. He went and when he went, my mom came with my clothes and I got ready and went and he felt something was going to happen, because when he went he ran back upstairs and I ask him what did he forgot and he said nothing, he says he just wanted to give me a kiss, because last night police had locked up him and they had him all day yesterday arrested and I was at the station until 8pm last night with lawyer with OJ Elrington to try and get him out and got him out and he is always telling me that I am always there for him through everything up and downs, like no perfect relationship, because he cheats and I am always there for him, but he came upstairs and he gave me a kiss and from there he went."

"I reach by in front of publics and I call and ask my mom why did James parked here, he knows he is not supposed to park here. He usually parks in front of OJ step where he can ran up or ran down or park in the parking lot for Dibary parking lot place. So, anyways I reach upstairs and I ask him why did he parked there, that he knows he is not supposed to park in that area. He say nobody knows the vehicle, I says nobody know the vehicle, but if one person sees you waling, or whatever..."

"Anyways, we cut that out and we prayed again, so left from OJ office with OJ and went to the court and I was watching the case virtual me and the 2 assistants. He came back for me and he says let's go, I am ready. He says he has business to do. I say let us wait a little bit, because it's raining hard. I told him my hair is permed and I don't want it to get wet, he says to put a rag over my head and let us go."

"We are running across now at the vehicle, he and I jumped in and I told him that God was on his side, because Judge Lord didn't hand down any order that your bail got revoked and you didn't get any ticket. Because of the type of lifestyle, me and James choose, we have to fear for our lives every day, never know what will happen when we woke up and step out the door and there are a lot of people who envy us and jealous about how we are living and different things like that. I fear for my life every day, but every day I pray to God."

And she believes they spotted Tanga from the time he arrived, but decided to wait until they were leaving to make their move. James leaves behind three kids in Belize City and one in the US.
