This weekend's string of violent deaths included a traffic accident on Saturday afternoon that police are still investigating. According to the initial police report, 27-year-old Abner Magana lost control of his scooter in Yo Creek village and crashed into the cement bridge near Roxxo, succumbing to his injuries. However, today, communications officer ASP Fitzroy Yearwood explained that the case is still being looked at.

"Friday around 1:20pm police visited a scene at the Yo Road, but when they arrived there, they were informed that the motionless body of Abner Magana was removed under the bridge in Yo Creek Village and initial investigation revealed that he was driving his scooter on that road when he lost control and ran into the bridge and ended up under the bridge. He was transported to the Northern Regional where he was pronounced dead on arrival."
