Prime Minister John Briceño is leading a major week long visit to Taiwan tonight.

His delegation includes Foreign Minister, Eamon Courtenay, Minister of Agriculture, Joe Mai, Minister of Education, Francis Fonseca, Cabinet Secretary Stuart Leslie, the Prime Minister's wife, Special Envoy Rossana Briceño, and his brother, Trade ambassador Jaime Briceno.

For the Taiwanese, it is a prized visit for one of their 13 remaining allies and a release from their end says he will receive the Order of Propitious Clouds with Special Grand Cordon and an honorary Doctorate in Taiwan from Kun Shan University.
