Guilty! That's what 40 year old Orson "OJ" Elrington, pleaded today to the offense of driving a motor vehicle not covered by third party risk insurance. For that he was fined $255.00. But that's only one of three charges Elrington faced when he went to court today. This evening in the court room of Magistrate, Baja Shoman, Elrington was read two more traffic offenses: drove motor vehicle without due care and attention and failed to conform to a traffic sign - both of which he pleaded not guilty to.

For those, Elrington was offered bail in the sum of $500 plus one surety of the same amount which he met.

He is due back in Court #6 on August 3, 2022.

For his guilty plea, The Magistrate asked Elrington to give a good reason why his drivers license should not be suspended. He said he believed the routine renewal had been handled by his office. He also added that he has been driving for 22 years and what happened was a genuine mistake. With that he was not disqualified from driving.
