And while the PSU came out swinging, the PM didn't put up much of a fight when the media asked him about the decision of the chairman of Julian Cho - who is also Minister Oscar Requena's Driver - to axe Shyne Barrow as their graduation's guest speaker.

Instead, he said that the matter has hardly crossed his mind, and it's not like the kids are losing out by not having the Leader of the Opposition speak to them:

Reporter
"Do you see this as a lost opportunity for these students given that the chairman of the board is Minister Requena's driver who made that decision?"

Hon. John Briceno - Prime Minister
"[long pause] Lost opportunity? I don't think there's much that the leader of the opposition can tell anyone but at the end of the day, it is a decision for the board of directors, I think from what I understand, and I've not gotten a report, and it really does not interest me. From what I understand, many schools ask students to give names for the board to consider, it's not the students that decides who's going to speak and I guess the board, after looking at the different names, I guess they decided to invite someone else. I really don't know the details, and it was doesn't matter, it's not important."
