So, as you saw earlier in the news - the Commissioner of Police has returned to the country after two weeks of travel on official business.

So, we caught up on a number of issues, including the police's stalled investigation into Jasmine Hartin. She was detained 3 weeks ago over allegations of her involvement in a conspiracy to put a hit on Commissioner himself, as well the magistrate of the family court.

Since her release, police have not moved to charge her, and so, the press asked, is she off the hook for that allegation? Here's how the Commissioner responded:

Reporter
"Is Miss Hartin off the hook? We realize that she has been released and that no updated reports suggest any charge has been levied against her."

Chester Williams - Commissioner of Police

"I have said to a media house that asked me this question when I was away that she's not completely off the hook as yet. The investigators are still doing certain work and certain things were said. I personally have received a number of text messages from Miss Hartin. How she got my number, I don't know. But she has found ways to message me, prior to the alleged threat being made. And that's why I have no difficulty believing that she might have made certain threats, based on the content of the messages I have received from her. Be that as it may, I am not involved in the investigation, and for good reasons. I do not want to come across as if I am influencing the investigation because I am a subject of, it in terms of being a complainant. But, the investigators have certain things to do to be able to ascertain if in fact the threats were made, and then, we see how we proceed from there."

Reporter
"So are you saying it's a common practice for Miss Hartin to send threats to your phone?"

Chester Williams
"Yes. She has sent me a number of disturbing messages."
