The press also asked about the police's investigation into the poisoning of the water system in San Vicente, Toledo.

As viewers will remember, reports emerged from that southern village that residents showed up needing medical treatment for upset stomachs. And after inquiries were conducted, it was determined that someone maliciously poured insecticide into their water tanks.

Today, Commissioner Williams said that police are having difficulty identifying the perpetrator:

Chester Williams - Commissioner of Police
"That investigation is still difficult for us. While, yes, we did have a suspect in respect to that matter, we were unable to gather evidence to tie that person to the placement of the poison in the water system. And so, we are at a standstill at this time, unless we would be able to get someone who can come and say definitively, I saw the individual at the water supply system, he had this liquid and he put it in it. Until then, we are not where we would want to be, not even circumstantially. So, at this time, we are at a standstill where that investigation is concerned."
