And like Panton's relatives, the family of 26-year-old Jordan Bradley continues to grieve the loss of the man who, by all accounts, didn't deserve to be killed so callously. Bradley was at a house on 11th Street, playing checkers, when he was innocently targeted. When the gunmen barged in - everyone dashed for cover except Jordan - who, as his Uncle said - was such a stranger to that crime - that he didn't even know he should have dashed for cover.
Apparently, in Belize City these days, that can get you killed.
Tonight, police are looking for a suspect. Today, communications officer, ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, gave us an update.
ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Officer
"Initial investigations reveal that Bradley was playing checkers with some other friends at that location when a white Dodge Caravan approached then from the direction of I Street into 11th Street. The van apparently went around the block and upon returning, two men exited the van and opened fire in Bradley's and the other occupants of that yard's direction, fatally injuring Bradley. We have a person of interest that we're searching for, investigators have sent to my office the information of this person. I have to be very careful that I don't send out his identifty in the event we would need to do an ID parade in connection with this murder."

Reporter:
"Is there anything to suggest that Mr Bradley was not the intended target of that shooting?"
ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Officer
"I usually say this when asked that question, whether or not you were the intended target, you ended up being that target and yes, while I want to sway away from the actual fact, Mr Bradley lost his life due to the location that he was at that time, whether or not the other persons that were playing checkers with him, that would be determined after our investigators have established motive."
Courtney Menzies:
"Are police looking at the angle that this may be related to the other murder that happened in Kings Park on 6th Street?"
ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Communications Officer
"I cannot say definitely that we're not looking at it, but we're examining several angles and we hope that this person that we're looking for could bring some form of closure to this investigation and we are very hopeful to find this person."
