And just before that viral moment, police grabbed Derrin Stuart, a man who says he was minding his own business inside "Shisha 8 Lounge".
For their part, the cops say that they were forced to detain Stuart after he was seen shoving people inside the crowded club.
And then there's Stuart's wife who didn't witness the arrest but said she felt her safety threatened in the aftermath of it. Here's what the couple had to say today about how their night out turned into a nightmare.

"Well, I was waiting for my wife to come back from the restroom and three officers came up to me. And from there on, they took me outside. But when. When they took me to the station, they told me that they brought me in for resisting arrest."
Cherisse Halsall:
"And at the time, there's no fight going on in the club. It's not that you met someone that you had a problem with."

"No, no fight, I was just there with some co-workers and my wife."
Cherisse Halsall:
"What did it actually feel like when these three policemen who are all bigger in stature than you grab you?"

"It was shocking to me you know. I don't know really rouble anyone I'm just a working man, you know."
"I guess the public already knows what's going on with the police and how they treat people. But something has to be done about this situation. And they can't be going around beating up by everybody like that."

"So at the time, the officers, there were three of them coming out with him and they all had him on the ground outside of the club. So I went to him and I said, Don't see anything. Shut up. One of the officers pushed me into another one of the officers, and then he pulled out his pepper spray and started to shake it."
Cherisse Halsall:
"At that point, were you scared that you would be Pepper sprayed?"

"Yes, actually, I was. And, you know, we just came because I was working the night. So we just came from the office and everything and we just wanted to have a little fun because we don't go anywhere."
"And then they took him in the vehicle with his cuffs on because he lifted up his hands and he was already cuffed. So when they took him there, he had absolutely no bruises on him. When I went to the police station, a young lady that was there, she told me, Ms.. Was that man your husband? And I said, yes. She told me that his face was swollen, his lip was bruised, and his shirt was covered in blood."
As you saw Stuart's jaw was allegedly fractured in two places.
The couple says they are leaning toward making a report to the professional standards branch.
