And so while those matters all relate to government managed hospitals - the KHMH Authority is different. It's a statutory corporation with its own board of directors, which employs its own managers. So while it is a public hospital - it's not government managed - so those problems with pay sheet deductions and overtime don't affect its employees. But, the supply shortages from Central Medical Stores affect all public facilities, and today the President of the KHMH Union - which sent out a release standing in solidarity with the nurses - told us what their experience has been like:
