And now moving further west - the San Ignacio Community Hospital doesn't even have antibiotics - and today even children were on the compound protesting alongside the healthcare workers.
Our colleague at The Pandy Show was there and spoke with some of the protesters.
Patient

"They don't have any antibiotic right now and they need it."
Doctor
"We need to fight for our rights, we need to fight for the rights of the patients, because it's going for a long while that we don't have a lot of supplies here at the hospital. We try to stretch what we have and as you can see the patients are suffering, the poor are suffering. The thing is that we

don't have any medications to give our patients - they come here and they have to go buy, they don't have money to buy, so who ends up suffering - the people, the population ends up suffering. The same people that vote the government in office are the same ones that are suffering, so we are tired of it, we are fighting for the country, we are fighting for patients and for our rights as well as you can see my sign "underpaid." They work us long hours and when you come and claim your overtime, they don't want to pay. We are not working for free. We work hard and we deserve justice and its time that we stand up for our rights."
Voice of: Nurse
"The thing is that we want, we work overtime and we don't get paid for it. From last month they told us that nobody gets paid overtime. And it should have come in this month and it didn't came in, so I don't know what is happening. I can't blame nobody. We want them to come and talk to us, because if nobody comes to talk to us, this will not stop right now. The person we want this message to reach is Kevin Bernard and let him see what is happening and if possible, let him come right here, because he is the main person we would want to talk to."
