And in other news, he lost his son back in June, and now, his brother is missing. It's been a week since 55-year-old Phillip Palma's family has spoken to him and they've gotten even more concerned since they received information which indicates something may have happened to him. While they are trying not to assume the worst, Palma's brother, Ricardo Palma - whose 24-year-old son was recently murdered in Ladyville - is pleading for the public to assist them in any way. We spoke to him this morning.
Ricardo Palma, Brother of Missing Man
"I get a report that my brother went missing so I'm asking the public to please assist me because the last time I spoke with my brother on the telephone it was last week Friday. And from since then, I haven't gotten any other call from my brother. And then I got a report that he went missing, so now I'm fully concerned, I want the public to try help me."
Courtney Menzies:
"Do you fear that your brother's life might be in danger?"
Ricardo Palma, Brother of Missing Man

"Well, all of that because he explained some things to me before, things happen like this kind of way and I didn't expect it to be like this but he told me some certain things so that why I decided to ask the public to please help me, I want to know where is his whereabouts so we can feel happy if he's still alive or something like that because we get information about certain things so we need to know if he's alive."
"We feel lost because he usually, you know, most of the time when he comes around, he doesn't hang out around us, he hangs out with those people from Faber's Road and so far, I haven't gone around there to ask them anything so far yet, so I need to go around there too because I know most of the time he comes, it's around those areas he hangs out."
Courtney Menzies:
"But he hasn't been in any kind of trouble before this?"
Ricardo Palma, Brother of Missing Man
"Well, so far to be truthful I don't really know if he gets into trouble like that, they say he has misunderstandings with one or two guys but I don't really know, so I don't really want to condemn anybody or anything like that but I just really want to know if they know something, just help me out too because I know my brother hangs around there."
"To be truthful, it's a really difficult because they just killed my son like about, not even three months yet, then not my brother, if he died, then he will be the second one then just after my son died, my uncle died, and my cousin died, my two cousins died, so I don't know, when it rains, it falls, man. So all we have to do is ask Jesus to guide us."
