And while police search for the killers in these two most recent murders, they've made an arrest in the triple traffic fatality that occurred on Tuesday morning. The bus driver, 21-year-old Joel Omar Disus, was charged with one count of failure to keep to the extreme right hand of the road, three counts of manslaughter by negligence, and three counts of causing death by careless conduct.
Disus had told police that he was heading towards Corozal from Benque when, upon reaching Sandhill, a taxi driver stopped in the middle of the road. To avoid hitting the two pedestrians on the side of the road, he swerved into the other lane, where he collided into a Isuzu D Max. The three passengers, Brandon Gillett, James Dawson, and Eustace Dawson, all passed away as a result.
