This morning in Lord's Bank police stopped a bus to search it - and almost ended up in a shootout.
That's because 26-year-old Joel Choco allegedly tried to escape the cops by running toward the bus's back door, and when that didn't work he allegedly pulled a firearm from his waist and pointed it at one of the officers.
That officer fired a warning shot which caused Choco to drop the weapon, leading to his arrest. And while it's newsworthy that Choco who is thought to be a member of Taylor's gang was brazen enough to pull a gun on a cop what's even more noteworthy tonight is that that very same gun, a 9 millimeter pistol actually belongs to the police department.
Soruces tell us It was reported missing by a policeman one week ago after he misplaced it while on special duty at MJ's nightclub. So Choco pulled a cop's gun on a cop.
Choco has since been arrested and charged with, "Kept firearm without a Gun License" and "Kept Ammunition without a Gun licensce".
