He's what you might call a repeat offender, and today a Chinese businessman found himself in court for the third time facing drug charges - this time he was with his girlfriend.
Zhi Jun Huang and Jinlian Zhang were charged with possession of 2 grams of cocaine which police found in a search of his home. He was also charged with drug trafficking and possession of a pipe for smoking.
Huang pleaded guilty to possession but said not guilty to drug trafficking saying he does not sell drugs. He did also plead guilty to possession of a pip[e for smoking drugs.
Despite those two guilty please, he asked the court for leniency and not to send him to jail because he has his wife who he wants to go home so she could take care of their son.
For his plea, Huang was fined a total of $2,500 dollars.
This is Huang's third charge for drug related offenses and the second drug related offense allegations made against his wife.
And while this is his first conviction, Huang now has 2 other drug related offenses before the court pending trial, one where he and his wife and others were charged jointly and another where he alone was charged.
